• Personalised assessments are statutory for learners in Years 2 to 9 in Wales. Children will have three assessments: Numeracy (Procedural), Numeracy (Reasoning) and Reading.
• The purpose of the assessments is to find out children’s strengths and areas for improvement.
• Personalised assessments are taken on-line and are adaptive, meaning that questions are selected based on the responses to previous questions.
